Quality Control
Our quality control begins with the choice of raw material, lead, that comes in billets, and is present in all steps of the production. The billets are melted and acquire a cylindrical shape when cooled again. These are then pressed into wires and spheres, which will be used in the manufacturing of the pellets by Rifle Ammunition.
Wire and spheres are now fed into the pellets making machines that work to make pellets into particular shapes and sizes through swaging. Their weight and dimensions are predefined in the project development stage.
A limited quantity is then produced and tested for accuracy, harmony and balance, trajectory, ballistic coefficient and surface smoothness. The second step of quality control is concluded and production can continue.
During production, the pellets are constantly tested electronically, to ensure weight and dimensions are as predefined. Any discrepancy that is out of the tolerance set interrupts the machines until the problem is solved. This is the third step of our quality control, which also comprehends manual/visual check, done at the end of the production of the batch, followed by new accuracy and grouping tests.
Production finished, the batch is then stowed in boxes, while it waits for the last visual/manual screening, which the fourth the forth step of our quality control. Projectiles that don't conform to the Rifle Ammunition standard are separated and sent to the beginning of the production process, to compose the raw material again at the melting stage, which will produce a new batch.

Our Athletes
Felipe Almeida WuFelipe was born in São Paulo, on June 11th, 1992. He was attracted to the sport . At 8 he already had fun with air guns. Having a mother and father who are also shooters, he grew up shooting and lived in this environment, and had important achievements from an early age. 2004 officially marks his debut in shooting sports, when he was Campeão Paulista (Champion of the State of São Paulo) showed that the then 12-year-old boy was a welcome promise in the sport.
Training Felipe was a task for his father, kin of strict discipline and extremely focused. Daily training, focus, discipline and the ability to ignore the difficulties. These were (and are) the basic points of Felipe's training routine. In a country whose government doesn't pay much attention to any sport except soccer, Felipe used to practice shooting in the garage of his house, standing at a 7-meter distance from the target, whereas the standard official distance is 10 meters. |
Geraldo Von RosenthalGeraldo was born in Campo Bom, RS, on February 13, 1975. Although he had always been drawn by shooting sports, his history in the sport didn't begin util 2007, year when he joined the Movimento Paralímpco Brasileiro (Brazilian Paralympic Movement), at age 32. Affected by Poland Syndrome, a congenial disorder that compromises the pectoral, shoulder, and hand muscles on his right side, Geraldo had a hard time holding the air rifles and get good shots - "I lacked firmness",
he explains. In 2006, though, everything changed. Geraldo discovered the air pistol, which doesn't require two arms to be used. "From that point on, there were a lot of ups and downs, tears and laughter. And I don't regret a thing" |
